How we did it
Few cars are as recognisable as a DeLorean — and few are as difficult to work on. The body is not painted: it is brushed stainless steel, and one wrong polish erases the direction of the brushing for good. The work was cleaning and decontamination throughout, with hand correction only where the grain allowed it, and the interior treated piece by piece. The result is not a car that looks new — it is a 1982 car that looks properly kept, which is what a classic should look like.
