How we did it
A Model Y leaves the factory with famously thin paint, which is exactly why protection makes more sense here than on many pricier cars. We applied PPF to the body with a ceramic coating over it. On EVs there is a practical bonus too: fewer aggressive washes means fewer micro-scratches across the large flat surfaces this car has everywhere.
